’89 Bringing it Home
Two-Day Study Trips to Budapest About the Regime Change for Students Aged 15–19
The Embassy of the United States of America
Why should regime change be interesting for a teenager today?
What do you think is important to remember from '89?
The Blinken OSA Archive organized two-day study trips to Budapest for young people aged 15-19 to explore these questions together.
Our aim was to make the events of the regime change and their changing interpretations more personal and tangible for the students through colorful, interactive, and creative activities.
We welcomed applications from groups of 15-35 students, from schools outside Budapest.
Participation was free of charge and all costs (travel, meals, accommodation) were covered by the Embassy of the United States of America.
