A selection from Péter Bacsó’s 1967 film Summer on the Hill, which was filmed in the surviving buildings of the forced-labor camp, will be shown, as well as interviews with survivors of the camp and participants in the discovery of history, and a portrait film by Zsuzsa Debre. Excerpts from György Stirling’s book Humiliated Generations, about his time in the Badacsony labor camp, will be presented. This will be followed by a discussion with the participants of the story, historian András Mink, and Iván Székely, the curator of the exhibition.
